I would say no because he sacrificed winning a ring to make big money. If he had stayed in PHX I believe PHX would have beaten LA at least once in the next 2 years and would be in the NBA Finals. Lebron, Wade, and Bosh took less to play for rings. I think if Melo wanted to form a big 3 in New York. He would play this season out and go their the following season even if he loses money under the CBA but since he wants a sign and trade and the Nuggets are not looking at Knicks offer seriously...
